Nestled right in the city centre, it's a mere stroll to the stunning Garavogue River, and ideal for venturing out to explore the charming cafés and vibrant atmosphere of the town. My room was spacious, with a beautiful river view and balcony that provided a relaxing retreat after a long day of meetings. The food was a highlight; I indulged in the bar menu for dinner, and was thoroughly satisfied with every bite. Executive Chef Alan Fitzmaurice truly elevates the dining experience here. Breakfast was a bustling affair, but once seated, the attentive staff ensured I had everything I needed without a hitch. And let's not forget George, the lovely Portuguese staff member who made everyone's day a bit brighter with his friendliness - I could easily see why guests would return just to chat with him! The Glasshouse struck a perfect balance between a cozy retreat and a functional business stay, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore this vibrant corner of Ireland.
